last week we learned how to draw a cartoon version of myself
we had to make a google drawing watch a video step by step.
First we had to take a picture of our self and import it into the google drawing. Second we had to out line our face and hair. Then outline the shading. after the mouth ears and eyes. We had to make it all transparent first.
Next we had to get a colour picker to get the colours of our face to colour in the face and shade. When we had coloured every thing we had to get rid of the outlines and picture. Last of all if it needed editing we had to fix it. Then we have our final result.
here is my picture
it was hard because we had to stop to watch the next step
I keep on going because it was fun and it still looked like me even thought I had to make my hair brown instead of black to make it look good
I learned while doing this is that drawing cartoon characters is hard
I had a few mistakes because I added to much detail before that made it look ugly so I learned not to add to make much details
I tried hard to make it look like me
here are the links to make your own:
will you make one?
Kia ora Charles,
ReplyDeleteI really like the writing you have done around how to complete this task and your experience. Your Drawing is fantastic! You have done such an awesome job at making the curves and the shades.
Your comment about Justin Bieber Hair made me laugh. I think the way you have done it is very effective.
In your post you have shared some interesting things - sometimes you have forgotten to add in a capital letter and full stop so nmaybe you could go back in and improve this.
I have already made one, but after seeing your attempt I think I need to go back and try again!!! Do you have any advice for me?
Do you think you will use the colour picker for any other learning? When will it be a useful tool?
this looks really cool good work

DeleteHi, Charles, My name is “Bren” I’m from South Hornby School, which is a Cool Place to learn. Anyways I liked your drawing, thanks to you for telling the truth that you said “it's hard” which is a really good thing to confess to people. This post made have a flashback about home learning during quarantine, but except drawing the head/face, we also had to draw the chest, shoulders, and half of arms, it was also hard, it took an hour for me to finish it, when did you finish the WHOLE drawing, how old were you when you did this? I am year 4, the same age as when I made a person in home learning. What year were you?
ReplyDeletethank you. and do you know a person called Enzo because he is my best friend and he told me he went to your school.

next time you can draw a background.
what is a picker?
something that picks a specific item like a colour picker I hover my mouse over a colour I want then click on it then it gives me the tag
